Trailer Trash

Here we have a few basic photo's of our "new" place of living. . .our Mobile Home. Located in what is known as the "felony-flats trailer park" in cedar city Ut isn't it just screaming buy me!? Seriously though I'm pretty excited about it. Sayaka needed some convincing and after some time "halfway" convinced was accomplished.
With some minor. . . or maybe some major fixing and some TLC this place will be awesome.

I hope these pictures are a joke! It is going to cost so much to fix it up. Are you for real??

GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE! I HOPE YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME OR A LOT OF MONEY...ACTUALLY YOU'LL NEED BOTH!

YOU tried convincing your sick pregnant wife?
That is supposed to be the other way around.
Who will spend more time at home?

I can see that the new carpet was a necessity.....along with a new fridge and toilet, etc. Good thing you and your brothers are so handy with fix ups. Be sure to post after pictures too! I bet you won't even be able to tell it's the same place!

I have two comments:

1) our latest apartment was pretty filthy when we moved in (admittedly, it wasn't quite as bad as yours) BUT it's amazing how quickly it started feeling like home after all of the surfaces were sanitized.

2) Our awesome bishop & his wife saved tons of money while they were in school by living in a trailer that was so bad that she used to fall through the floor sometimes (my sister has similar stories from their college trailer). Their story inspired us to stick with our little one-bedroom even when Peter was born. Sure, a three-story townhouse would be nice, but living the frugal life is so rewarding (and character building, not that you need any more kinds of character building while you're pregnant...)

Anyway, I'm sure that Josh & Sayaka combined will turn the trailer into a great home. Kudos to you.
